Venteon Finance is currently seeking a

Financial Analyst

for a manufacturing company located in the Metro-Detroit, MI area. This position will support key centralized corporate Treasury and Financial Planning \& Analysis responsibilities.

Requirements of the

Financial Analyst

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or equivalent education.
• 3 plus years of experience in accounting field.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing or accounting firm.
• CPA preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred.

Responsibilities of the

Financial Analyst

• Update weekly cashflow models and borrowing base calculations
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities for Corporate and each of the US-based facilities
• Prepare journal entries as part of the monthly close process as well as the daily cash activity entries; ensure proper coding of all expenses
• Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations for corporate ledgers; focus on cash accounting and reconciliations
• Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts and strategic plans for the business
• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in monthly results analysis against forecasts
• Ensure compliance with internal control policies and work with external auditors as needed.
• Complete special projects as assigned
