Finish Carpenter

PRST is hiring for a skilled Finish Carpenter  for a High-end custom home contractor in the Palo Alto area. Must be able to demonstrate strong attention to detail and take pride in craftsmanship. This is not production work—projects are architect-driven, detail-heavy, and require precision execution. This position pay $42-$50 an hr, DOE. Responsibilities

• Install high-end finish elements: doors, windows, base, crown, casing, and paneling
• Set cabinets, vanities, and built-ins with tight tolerances
• Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and field layouts
• Scribe and fit materials to uneven surfaces typical in custom homes
• Work with hardwoods, veneers, and specialty materials
• Coordinate with project managers and other trades to maintain schedule and quality
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site

• 5\+ years of finish carpentry experience (custom residential preferred)
• Proven ability to deliver high-end, detail-oriented work
• Strong knowledge of layout, reveals, and trim hierarchy
• Proficient with hand tools and finish carpentry equipment
• Ability to read and execute from plans without constant supervision
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Basic PPE and standard tools required

Preferred

• Experience with luxury/custom builds ($1M\+ homes)
