Founding Solutions Engineer

The company has raised a Series A, operates with a lean team that punches well above its weight, and is tackling a market that has expanded dramatically due to LLMs, with no incumbent doing it well. The Role

You'll be the primary technical interface for enterprise prospects, owning pre-sales deal cycles end-to-end. This is a rare blend of deep technical credibility and commercial instinct. You're not a support function, you're a deal owner who happens to speak the language of developers and architects.

What You'll Do

• Own the full technical pre-sales motion: discovery, solution design, POC management, and technical close
• Run proof-of-concept engagements from scoping through to success criteria sign-off
• Give product demos that make complex technical concepts land for both engineers and executives
• Be the go-to for hard technical questions: API architecture, security models, parsing mechanics, on-prem deployments
• Diagnose and resolve configuration issues quickly across schemas, prompts, and processors
• Partner with AEs to convert technical champions into closed deals

What We're Looking For

• 3\+ years in Solutions Engineering or Sales Engineering, with 1\+ years owning pre-sales deals independently
• Proven track record selling technical products to developers and technical buyers
• Fluent in architecture, APIs, and integration patterns, not just at surface level
• Fast learner, exceptional communicator, intellectually honest
• Resilient: when a prospect raises an objection, your instinct is to solve it, not escalate it
• Comfortable presenting to a CTO and a junior dev in the same day
