Freelance Graphic Designer Needed for Our Growing Agency

Our small-but-growing design agency is in need of a talented, responsible graphic designer to join our team.

The details:

• We'll provide 5-10 hours of work per week initially, with the goal being 20\+ hours per week.

• Initial pay: $40/hour, with regular raises. We're not here to nickel-and-dime our contractors, and as we grow, your share of the profits will grow.

• This is a freelance position, not an employment position.

• We expect you to have 4\+ years of professional graphic design experience.

• Ideal candidates have a degree in design, or a directly-related field.

• We don't really care where you're working from, but you must be available for the majority of the standard working day in the Eastern US Time Zone.

• You must have a (great) portfolio. Any candidate that does not provide a portfolio will not be considered.

• We will expect estimates from you, and we will expect you to work within your estimates.

• Deadlines are very important to us and to our clients. We expect you to deliver every project on time, and to show up to every meeting on time.

• Talent is important, but what is equally as important is that you're a team player. We want positive designers that are open to feedback, happy to work in teams, and generally bring a positive attitude to the agency.

• This position is for Graphic Designer specifically. We're not currently hiring for developers, photographers, video editors...etc. That being said, if you have skills in addition to graphic design, but graphic design is the vast majority of what you do, feel free to share. Experience with Wordpress development, project coordination, SEO, social media management, illustration...etc, are all desirable secondary skill sets, but you must primarily be a graphic designer.

• Our management philosophy is that we're here to do a killer job for our clients, on time, and with as little stress as possible.

• We're here to help you succeed, and we're here to share our experience. We want you to learn and grow with us, and to get some great portfolio pieces as well.

• Last but not least, we want to build long-term relationships. With our contractors and our clients. If you don't feel the same, this position is probably not for you.
