About the Role

Hiredbuddy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Frontend Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this entry-level role, you will work closely with senior developers and product managers to build and enhance user-facing features for our web applications. You will be responsible for translating UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality, responsive code, ensuring a seamless experience across all devices and browsers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Collaborate with designers to implement pixel-perfect UI components
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
• Debug and resolve front-end performance and accessibility issues
• Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and tools
• Work in an agile environment, attending daily standups and sprint planning sessions
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including backend developers, QA, and product
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools

Technologies You'll Work With

• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6\+)
• Modern front-end frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular (we primarily use React)
• CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS
• Build tools like Webpack, Vite, or Parcel
• Version control with Git and GitHub/GitLab
• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON
• Familiarity with testing libraries such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress is a plus

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Understanding of responsive design principles

• Basic knowledge of version control systems (Git)
