Full Stack Developer Intern

Mercom India is part of the Mercom Capital Group, a global clean energy research and communications firm. We build data-driven platforms, tools, and digital products that support our research, media, and advisory businesses worldwide.

Role Overview

Mercom India is looking for a motivated Full Stack Developer Intern to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you will work on real production applications across front-end and back-end systems, collaborating closely with product, design, and senior developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies
• Build responsive user interfaces and reusable components
• Support back-end development, including APIs, databases, and server-side logic
• Debug, test, and optimize applications for performance and scalability
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand and implement product requirements
• Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices
• Document code and contribute to technical documentation

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with at least one front-end framework such as React, Angular, or Vue
• Basic knowledge of back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, or PHP
• Understanding of databases, SQL or NoSQL
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with RESTful APIs
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with authentication, security best practices, or DevOps concepts
• Personal projects, GitHub contributions, or a portfolio demonstrating full stack work
