General Superintendent

The ideal candidate will oversee all on-site operations for our commercial construction projects. The candidate will be involved in supervising project schedules, ensuring safety protocols, managing field personnel, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with design specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead all field operations for assigned projects, overseeing construction activities to ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Develop and implement site-specific project plans, schedules, and logistics strategies in coordination with Project Managers.
• Manage and supervise the field teams, including the Project Superintendents.
• Work with the Safety Manager to ensure all field operations comply with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Inspect work for quality assurance, ensuring all construction aligns with design specifications and industry standards.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures, adjusting as necessary to meet or exceed quality expectations.
• Coordinate with project architects and engineers to resolve design issues or discrepancies.
• Develop detailed project schedules and update timelines as needed, collaborating with Project Managers to forecast resource needs.
• Oversee on-site logistics, including material deliveries, equipment rentals, and labor allocation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, 10 years of experience with 5 years in a Supervisory role.
• Commercial experience preferred
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
