Overview

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Artist / Illustrator to join our creative team. This role will focus on developing original artwork and production-ready graphics for licensed apparel, headwear, and accessories. The ideal candidate has strong illustration skills, a great eye for typography and layout, and experience preparing artwork for screen print, embroidery, jacquard, and other apparel embellishment techniques.

You will work closely with our product development, sales, and licensing teams to create compelling graphics that align with brand standards while meeting production requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Create original graphics and illustrations for apparel and accessories
  • Translate concepts, references, and brand guidelines into production-ready artwork
  • Prepare print-ready files for screen print, embroidery, appliqué, jacquard, sublimation, and other embellishment techniques
  • Adapt licensed artwork to fit garment silhouettes and decoration methods
  • Create CADs, mockups, and presentation materials for internal and customer review
  • Ensure artwork meets technical requirements for domestic and offshore production
  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to develop new graphic concepts and seasonal assortments
  • Revise artwork based on feedback from licensors, customers, and internal teams
  • Maintain organized file structures and version control
  • Stay current on graphic trends in apparel, retail, and pop culture licensing

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Experience in graphic design or illustration, preferably in apparel
  • Strong illustration skills with ability to create original artwork
  • Understanding of apparel decoration techniques (screen print, embroidery, patches, jacquard, sublimation)
  • Experience creating tech-ready files for production
  • Knowledge of garment construction and print limitations
  • Strong typography and layout skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Experience working with licensed brands is a plus
