Breakaway Group is a premier entertainment and music festival multimedia company. We have the largest independent touring music festival in North America, spanning 13 cities over 9 months. With a focus on underserved markets, Breakaway is bringing a premium 2-day EDM/Pop festival experience with an always-changing lineup of top artists to where consumers live, work, and play.

THE ROLE

Breakaway is seeking a highly motivated Graphic Designer to support the design and development of all marketing and promotional materials across our festivals and events.

This role will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Brand, Operations, and internal teams to create compelling visual content that connects with fans and elevates the Breakaway brand. You'll play a key role in shaping how our audience experiences Breakaway, across digital, onsite, and beyond.

Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and produce high-impact creative across:

  • Marketing campaigns (digital, social, email, web)
  • Festival branding (onsite signage, stage visuals, activations)
  • Sponsorship decks, sales materials, and presentations
  • Merchandise and promotional assets
  • Internal materials (one-pagers, presentations, communications)
  • Translate creative briefs and art direction into compelling visual concepts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring campaigns and ideas to life
  • Develop graphics, mockups, and visual frameworks across multiple channels
  • Ensure consistent application of Breakaway brand guidelines across all touchpoints
  • Source and incorporate photography, typography, and design elements aligned with brand standards
  • Review and quality check designs, artwork, and assets before delivery
  • Present creative work to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively
  • Maintain strong file organization, naming conventions, and version control
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
  • Stay ahead of design, cultural, and digital trends to keep creative fresh and relevant

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4-5 years of relevant graphic design experience (music, entertainment, or live events preferred)
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative work and real-world applications
  • Ability to concept and execute designs from scratch through final production
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of digital, print, social, and web design best practices
  • Knowledge of current design trends, pop culture, and visual aesthetics
  • Ability to balance creative vision with data-driven and strategic thinking
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative mindset with a positive, team-first attitude
  • Adaptable and comfortable managing shifting priorities and quick-turn projects
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Canva is a plus
  • Passion for music, festivals, and live entertainment
