Job Description

How This Role Is Different at OTM

This role owns visual output end to end, from concept through final production, across every format a client or internal team needs: digital ads, websites, email templates, social media assets, presentations, brochures, banners, postcards, and multipage print documents. Most agencies split this across a digital designer and a print specialist. Here, one person covers the full spectrum, which means you see the brand as a whole system, not a series of disconnected deliverables.

You are also expected to build, not just design, client websites in Divi and Elementor. That means translating your own layouts into live, responsive pages without handing off to a developer. The full picture: you are accountable for the visual quality, brand consistency, production speed, and web build capability of everything that carries a client’s name or OTM’s name out the door.

Your Signature Moves

  • Full-Spectrum Fluency:

You move between a social carousel, a 24-page brochure, and a landing page build without losing momentum or quality because you see them as one brand system, not separate projects.

  • Canva Velocity, Adobe Depth:

You use Canva as the starting point for speed and collaboration, and you reach for Adobe when the work demands precision, complex compositing, or print-ready production that Canva cannot deliver. Figma for UX design.

  • Design-to-Live-Site Ownership:

You take a design from mockup to a fully built, responsive page in Divi or Elementor. No developer handoff required for standard builds.

  • Brand Guardian Instinct:

You catch brand drift before it reaches the client. You enforce consistency across dozens of assets without being asked, because you internalize the brand system rather than referencing it asset by asset.

  • Production Judgment Under Volume:

When the queue is full, you know which assets need bespoke attention and which can be AI-assisted and refined, and you make that call without sacrificing quality or missing deadlines.

  • Visual Storytelling That Converts:

Every layout decision you make is in service of a commercial outcome, not decoration. You design for attention, clarity, and action.

You Are Successful in This Role Because You:

  • You genuinely enjoy designing. The craft itself energizes you, and that shows in the care and consistency of your output across high-volume weeks.
  • You think in systems, not one-offs. A single asset is never just a single asset to you; it’s a piece of a larger visual ecosystem.
  • You default to Canva for speed and collaboration, and you know exactly when and why to reach for Illustrator, Photoshop, or InDesign.
  • You build responsive websites in Divi and Elementor with the same confidence you bring to a brand identity layout.
  • You produce print-ready files that don’t come back from the printer with issues. Bleeds, color profiles, and dielines are second nature.
  • You are fast without being sloppy. High volume does not rattle you; it sharpens your prioritization.
  • You take feedback as design input, not personal critique, and you iterate quickly without losing the thread of the original direction.
  • You manage your own queue, flag risks before they become misses, and communicate timelines with precision.
  • You stay current on design trends, platform specs, and tooling updates because stagnation is the real threat to a senior designer’s relevance.
  • You care about the outcome your design creates for the end audience, not just whether it looks good on your screen.
