Graphic Designer

COMPANY

Zia Tile is a boutique tile brand headquartered in Los Angeles, with tile produced by artisans around the globe. We are hiring a Graphic Designer to help design digital campaigns and brand materials. The Graphic Designer will consider cohesive visual brand guidelines, producing assets across channels and contributing thoughtful design ideas that dually uphold and evolve the Zia Tile brand.

DUTIES

• Contribute thoughtful, impactful design direction to creative assets across advertising, website, print, and more
• Collaborate with photography, creative, and marketing teams
• Own parts of the creative production process, including cropping, resizing, and preparing files for various channels
• Support the broader product experience through design of physical assets (packaging, inserts, notecards, installation guides, and other printed materials)
• Create and adapt assets for web, email, and social
• Support the team with light photo editing and retouching as needed
• Work with existing brand photography to evolve and refresh visuals

REQUIREMENTS

• 5\+ years as a graphic designer or similar position for brand(s) producing physical products.
• Ability to adapt and work quickly in response to real-time creative marketing needs and shifting priorities
• Strong eye for brand standards, layout, typography, and composition. We value innovation, diversification, and the incorporation of best practices across the board.
• Ability to make confident aesthetic choices aligned with brand and marketing goals
• Experience producing digital marketing assets with an understanding of performance and platform nuance
• Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude. Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a small team.
• Must provide portfolio of past work
• Must reside in Los Angeles, CA or work west coast hours

NICE TO HAVE

• Basic motion design skills
• Familiarity with web design tools (Figma, etc.)
• Awareness of the evolving AI landscape and an interest in applying new tools thoughtfully within the creative process
