Full-Time Guidance Counselor
Location:
Burlington County Institute of Technology - Westampton Campus
Position Summary
Burlington County Institute of Technology is seeking a qualified and student-centered
Guidance Counselor
to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a
valid NJDOE Educational Services Certificate with a School Counselor Endorsement (2702)
and demonstrate the ability to effectively support students' academic, career, and social-emotional development within a secondary school setting.
Qualifications
- Valid NJDOE Educational Services Certificate with School Counselor Endorsement (2702) (required)
- Prior guidance counseling experience preferred
- Knowledge of computerized master schedule development (desirable)
- Broad knowledge of:
+ Testing and evaluation practices
+ Individual and group guidance theories and techniques
+ Secondary school guidance program design
+ Career education, exploration, and placement
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with students, parents, staff, and community organizations
Salary \& Benefits
Salary Range:
$65,737 $81,313
