Central High

Central High School is a 9-12 school located in Harrison, TN. Our school has a rich history and long-standing traditions. We are a diverse community that promotes acceptance and collaboration. Unique to Central is our strong alumni support and involvement.

We are looking for teachers who have a sense of purpose and calling to teach and who have a compelling nature. Central teachers believe that every student is important and are motivated to help their students master content and prepare them for post-secondary life after Central.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver, and assess effective instruction aligned to Tennessee state standards
  • Design engaging lessons with clear objectives and measurable outcomes
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners

  • Build strong, respectful relationships with students and families

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Valid Tennessee teaching license in 6-12 Mathematics OR current enrollment in an accredited teacher preparation program

Compensation \& Additional Info

  • Salary Scale based on education and experience – starting at $50,000\.00
  • Eligible positions may qualify for additional pay under the Differentiated Compensation Plan
