About The Role
The HR Analyst position is a critical role within the Human Resources Central Team, primarily supporting HR functions remotely across the United States. This role involves managing a variety of HR-related inquiries and processes, including onboarding, offboarding, payroll support, and policy interpretation. The HR Analyst acts as a first point of contact for employees, providing professional and timely support through multiple communication channels such as phone, email, chat, and case management systems. The role requires a detail-oriented individual capable of handling sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. The HR Analyst will also contribute to process improvement initiatives, produce HR reports, and support HR programs to enhance the overall employee experience. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to develop their HR expertise in a dynamic, remote work environment, with potential for transition to a permanent role after meeting the required hours.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong understanding of HR principles, policies, and procedures
- Experience with HR programs such as onboarding, offboarding, and payroll support
- Proficiency in utilizing HR technology and case management systems (e.g., Salesforce)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in process optimization and workflow improvement (preferred)
- Familiarity with HR metrics, reporting, and data analysis
- Knowledge of California HR laws and practices (preferred but not mandatory)
Responsibilities
- Respond to general HR inquiries from employees via multiple channels, providing accurate and timely information
- Support HR programs such as onboarding, offboarding, and unemployment claims, ensuring smooth execution
- Conduct virtual New Hire Orientations to introduce new employees to company policies and culture
- Create and maintain HR reports and statistics, supporting data-driven decision-making
- Document all customer interactions accurately within the Salesforce case management system
- Assist in triaging and escalating complex HR issues to the appropriate HR specialists or managers
- Ensure compliance with established Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for customer service
- Provide backup support to other HR Central team members as needed
- Contribute to maintaining and updating the HR knowledge base to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Participate in process improvements to enhance HR workflows and employee experiences
