Job Description
Our client, an industry leading, multi-billion dollar AUM hedge fund, are looking to make a “HR Business Partner” hire into its expanding New York office.
This newly created position will be the first HR Business Partner hired into the firm’s NYC office. Reporting into the Global Head of HR (the wider HR team are based overseas), the hire will take ownership for a broad range of HRBP tasks, extending to managing HR infrastructure buildouts, upgrades and project work – a major project initially being the implementation of a new HRIS firmwide, which the hire will play a key role in leading. More broadly, the hire will have sole ownership for a broad range of HR Business partnering responsibilities, including managing HR operations \& systems, the development and execution of HR policies, having a focus on compensation \& benefits, training/promotions/disciplinary management etc. For a firm of its size, stature and stage of development, this is a highly visible \& autonomous role specific to its expanding New York office.
Candidates should ideally have 5-10yrs relevant experience as a HR Generalist, HRBP or HR Operations Specialist. We are ideally looking for buy-side specialists, but could consider exceptional banking candidates. Candidates must have strong stakeholder management experience, project management skills and excellent communication skills.
The role is budgeted to pay up to a $400k TC. Benefits include fully subsidised lunch, gym and fantastic pension \+ healthcare packages.
