General Summary

This position is responsible for processing weekly payroll and supporting the day-to-day administration of Human Resources operations, Including recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, benefits administration, and compliance-related activities. This role also serves as the primary administrative contact for general office operations and support requests.

Essential Duties \& Responsibilities

Human Resources

  • Process weekly payroll functions.
  • Conduct payroll audits, verify accuracy of entered data, make appropriate adjustments, and resolve

discrepancies.

  • Respond to team member and management inquiries regarding payroll matters.
  • Generate standard and ad hoc payroll and HR reports for management review and analysis.
  • Assist with data compilation for the annual 401(k) audit.
  • Support recruiting efforts by coordinating and participating in community events and hiring fairs, promoting National Distributors through social media platforms and hiring boards, sourcing and contacting candidates through various recruitment channels, and assisting with candidate engagement throughout the hiring process.
  • Support onboarding activities by collecting employment documentation, scheduling pre-employment physicals, and requesting driver’s license records.
  • Conduct new hire orientations.
  • Assist with benefit enrollment and termination processes; maintain records related to employee benefits administration and conduct new hire benefits meetings.
  • Coordinate training through BrewU; document and assist with employee training processes.
  • Oversee employee engagement, recognition, and community initiatives, including team-building events, holiday celebrations, Value Added Benefit programs, Employee of the Month recognition, and other philanthropic or community-focused activities; identify and implement additional employee perks when appropriate.
  • Maintain all personnel records and correspondence while safeguarding confidential employee information in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Serve as Corporate Social Responsibility Coordinator; collaborate with the accounting team regarding budgets and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Assist with Workers’ Compensation claims management, including filing First Reports of Injury (FROI), following up with injured employees, and completing fringe benefits and wage statement paperwork.
  • Participate as an active member of the Safety Committee program; compile and distribute the quarterly Safety Newsletter
  • Provide back-up support to the Human Resources Manager as needed.

Administrative

  • Answer incoming telephone calls, determine caller needs, and direct calls to the appropriate personnel or department.
  • Greet and assist visitors, announce arrivals to appropriate personnel, and assist walk-in candidates with applications and interview scheduling.
  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Management Team, including Board of Directors preparation, mailings, and annual requests.
  • Screen charitable donation requests and present recommendations to the President.
  • Maintain and coordinate office equipment and systems, including postage machines, fax lines, printers, and phone systems.
  • Manage breakroom televisions and office messaging systems.
  • Maintain vendor relationships, coordinate office supply orders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
