- Contribute to the ongoing execution and enhancement of performance management processes
- Partner with managers to identify training and employee development opportunities
- Assist in maintaining and updating policies, employee resources, and HR documentation
- Support job description creation and updates across departments
- Collaborate on HR projects, reporting, and process improvements
- Partner cross-functionally with HRIS and internal teams to ensure data accuracy and system effectiveness
What We’re Looking For
- 3\+ years of experience in a true HR Generalist role (not solely specialized in one function)
- Strong background in employee relations, performance management, and manager support
- Experience in a professional services or corporate environment (legal, consulting, accounting, etc.) strongly preferred
- Comfortable handling sensitive employee matters with professionalism and discretion
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence managers at multiple levels
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to ask questions and learn
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment
- Experience with HR systems Microsoft Office tools
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred
Work Environment \& Location
- Remote-first, with flexibility to work from home the majority of the time
- Must be located in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul) area
- Occasional in-person expectations include:
- Initial onboarding/training (a few days per week at the start)
- Periodic team meetings and company events
- Office access available for those who prefer a hybrid setup, but not required
Compensation
$65,000 – $85,000 base salary, plus bonus eligibility
Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, retirement, generous PTO, and additional employee-focused perks.
Why This Role
- True generalist scope with meaningful employee relations exposure
- Opportunity to partner closely with leadership and influence employee experience
- Stable, tenured HR team with strong internal growth paths
- Remote flexibility without sacrificing team connection and culture
