Position Summary
The HR Technology Analyst is responsible for supporting the Hitachi Digital Human Resources technology ecosystem by maintaining HR systems, ensuring data integrity, managing system integrations, and optimizing business processes. This global role serves as a key liaison between Human Resources, Shared Services, Information Technology, Payroll, Finance, and external vendors to ensure HR technology solutions operate efficiently and support business objectives.
The ideal candidate has experience administering cloud-based HR platforms such as Workday, VNDLY, and related HR applications, with a strong understanding of HR data, reporting, integrations, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
HR Systems Administration
- Support the day-to-day administration and maintenance of HR technology platforms, such as Workday, VNDLY, and other integrated HR systems, which includes supporting business processes, security roles, and workflows in accordance with business requirements.
- Troubleshoot system issues, coordinate resolutions, and escalate technical problems when appropriate.
- Participate in system upgrades, testing, and new feature implementations.
Data Management \& Reporting
- Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of employee and contingent workforce data across HR systems.
- Perform data audits, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
- Support data requests from HR, Payroll, Finance, and business leaders.
Systems Integrations
- Monitor and support integrations between HR systems and third-party applications.
- Partner with IT and vendors to troubleshoot integration failures and resolve data transmission issues.
- Lead in implementing new integrations and enhancements to improve data flow and operational efficiency.
- Validate data mappings and perform end-to-end testing during implementation projects.
Process Improvement
- Analyze HR business processes and recommend technology solutions that improve efficiency, automation, and user experience.
- Document business requirements, process flows, and system configurations.
- Participate in cross-functional projects involving HR technology implementations and enhancements.
- Identify opportunities to standardize processes and reduce manual work.
User Support \& Training
- Serve as a subject matter expert for HR technology platforms.
- Provide technical support and guidance to HR users, managers, and employees.
- Create and manage user documentation, job aids, and training materials.
- Deliver training sessions for new system functionality and process updates.
Compliance \& Governance
- Ensure HR systems comply with organizational policies, data privacy regulations, and security standards.
- Support audits related to HR systems and employee data.
- Maintain documentation of system changes, configurations, and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience supporting HRIS or HR technology platforms.
- Experience with Workday, VNDLY, or similar Human Capital Management (HCM) and Vendor Management Systems (VMS).
- Knowledge of HR business processes including recruiting, onboarding, core HR, payroll, benefits, and contingent workforce management.
- Experience supporting system integrations using APIs, EIBs, middleware, or other integration technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with reporting and analytics tools is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to work pro-actively, independently and multi-task on multiple projects with multiple deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting contingent workforce technologies such as VNDLY.
- Experience with HR system implementations or major enhancement projects.
- Knowledge of data governance, security administration, and compliance requirements.
