Job Description
We are representing a very prominent manufacturing organizaiton that is actively seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support their manufacturing operation. This role serves as a key resource for employees and leaders by providing guidance on a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, policy administration, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Partner with managers to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, coaching, and corrective action.
- Coordinate full-cycle recruiting activities for hourly and salaried positions, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure a positive onboarding experience.
- Administer company policies and procedures while ensuring consistent application across the organization.
- Support leave administration, workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and employee accommodations.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Assist with benefits administration and answer employee questions regarding HR programs.
- Support performance review and talent development processes.
- Partner with leadership on employee engagement initiatives and retention strategies.
- Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate personnel documentation.
- Participate in HR projects focused on process improvement, compliance, and organizational development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3\+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience handling employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentiality.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
