Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Human Resources Generalist

to join our team! This role is essential in supporting the day-to-day operations of our HR department and ensuring a positive employee experience across the organization.

Position Overview

The Human Resources Generalist will support and administer core HR functions including hiring and onboarding, payroll processing, benefits administration, leave management, employee relations, engagement initiatives, and policy enforcement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily HR operations and administrative functions
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding processes
  • Process payroll and maintain accurate timekeeping and employee records
  • Administer employee benefits, leave programs, and enrollment activities
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions related to HR policies, payroll, benefits, and leave
  • Maintain personnel files and ensure accuracy in HRIS systems
  • Support employee relations, including documentation, investigations, and issue resolution
  • Assist with performance management, disciplinary actions, and coaching documentation
  • Coordinate employee training, orientation, and development programs
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and support workplace culture
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Help maintain and enforce company policies and procedures
  • Prepare HR/payroll reports and assist with audits
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with managers and the finance team
  • Perform additional duties as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of

5 years of HR generalist or administrative experience

  • Spanish language proficiency required
  • Experience with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) strongly desired
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • High attention to detail
  • Intermediate knowledge of employment laws
