Human Resources Generalist
. This role supports a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management. The
Human Resources Generalist
is instrumental in managing day-to-day HR operations, ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures, and providing employees with professional, responsive support.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day HR operations and serve as a resource for employees and managers
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data
- Assist with benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries
- Support performance management processes and employee development initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, screening, interviews, and hiring coordination
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation programs
- Partner with hiring managers on recruitment best practices
- Track recruiting metrics and hiring activity
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and HR matters
- Support employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentiality
- Assist with implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Participate in HR programs that promote employee engagement and retention
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and recruiting effectiveness
- Maintain compliance with internal policies and employment regulations
- Ensure confidentiality of employee and candidate information
- Complete HR documentation and reporting accurately and on time
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–5 years of HR experience (HR Generalist experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment laws
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent), preferred
- Experience supporting multi-location or growing organizations, preferred
- Familiarity with HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Greenhouse, or Vista, preferred
- Experience using recruiting metrics to guide hiring decisions, preferred
Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary of $60,000–$65,000, based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
