Job Title: HR Generalist

About the Role:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive HR Generalist to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working across multiple functional areas, including payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, and recruiting. The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting employees and ensuring HR processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

· Process and manage payroll accurately and on schedule

· Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries

· Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters, providing guidance and resolving workplace issues

· Supports recruiting efforts and including job postings

· Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations

· Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures

· Support performance management processes and employee development initiatives

· Coordinate HR-related communications

· Participate in audits and reporting related to benefits

Experience

· Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role with a strong understanding of management practices.

· Familiarity with employment \& labor law compliance, workers' compensation procedures, and OSHA standards.

· Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms such as ADP WorkforceNow

· Demonstrated ability in recruiting; experience with social media recruitment strategies is a plus.

· Strong administrative skills including data entry accuracy and record keeping.

· Excellent communication skills coupled with project management capabilities to handle multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5 years of HR experience with a strong focus on payroll, benefits, employee relations, and recruiting

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred

· Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· High level of confidentiality and professionalism

· Excellent organizational and time management abilities

· Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred but not required:

· HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus but not required.
