Position Summary:

Is a key member of the Human Resources team, collaborating with all internal stakeholders and external partners. Develops and coordinates department activities that support the Company’s mission, vision, and values.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

HR Generalist Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with Company leadership to develop goals and strategies related to staffing, recruiting, retention, and employee development
  • Works closely with managers and employees to improve communication, strengthen teamwork, build morale, and increase productivity, engagement, and retention
  • Leads full-cycle recruiting and interview planning for open positions, partnering with hiring managers and key stakeholders
  • Acts as the Company’s recruitment brand champion and collaborates with Marketing and external partners to enhance employer branding
  • Maintains applicant tracking and job requisition systems to support compliance, reporting, and data-driven decision-making
  • Develops, tracks, and reports recruiting metrics on a regular basis
  • Conducts job analyses and maintains accurate job descriptions aligned with required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Performs onboarding activities, including new hire orientation, department rotations, and required training programs

Employee Relations \& Compliance

  • Serves as a point of contact for employee relations matters, providing guidance and resolution support to employees and managers
  • Conducts workplace investigations, documents findings, and partners with leadership to determine appropriate outcomes
  • Supports compliance with employment laws and regulations, including responding to TWC (Texas Workforce Commission) audits and unemployment claims
  • Assists with government and regulatory reporting requirements, including EEOC, EEO-1, OSHA 300/300A, and other audits

Benefits \& Employee Engagement

  • Manages benefits administration processes, including reviewing and reconciling benefits invoices
  • Leads and coordinates open enrollment, including employee communication, education, and system updates
  • Administers employee engagement surveys, analyzes results, and partners with leadership to develop and implement action plans
  • Drives initiatives to enhance employee experience and workplace culture

Workforce \& Vendor Management

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with staffing agencies (e.g., contract labor providers) to support workforce needs
  • Coordinates temporary staffing efforts, including onboarding, tracking, and performance feedback for contractors
  • Monitors contractor utilization and supports workforce planning efforts

Performance \& Development

  • Supports performance management processes, including reviews, coaching, and succession planning
  • Provides training and guidance to managers on best practices for leading, developing, and retaining their teams
  • Assists with compensation analysis for new and existing roles to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support HR operations and organizational objectives

  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws
  • High technical aptitude and advanced skills in Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional analytical skills as applies to metrics and reporting
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong adherence to meeting deadlines

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Seven years of related Human Resources experience in multiple human resources disciplines
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM-CP certification, or related recruiting certification
