Job Description

HRIS Analyst

We are conducting a confidential search for an experienced HRIS Analyst to play a key role in optimizing and supporting HR technology. This position serves as the primary subject matter expert for HR systems and reporting, ensuring that Workday is configured, maintained, and continuously improved to meet evolving business needs.

This is a highly collaborative role that partners closely with HR stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions, while also delivering meaningful reporting and insights that support decision-making across the organization.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HRIS support, building strong relationships with HR stakeholders and understanding the needs of various functional areas
  • Assess and prioritize incoming requests, gather detailed requirements, and recommend solutions based on business impact, risk, and efficiency
  • Configure and maintain Workday modules to align with HR and organizational needs, ensuring accuracy and system integrity
  • Proactively evaluate current system functionality and identify opportunities to improve processes, streamline workflows, and enhance user experience
  • Partner with stakeholders to test, validate, and document system updates and enhancements
  • Analyze the impact of Workday’s bi-annual releases, recommend adoption strategies, and ensure seamless implementation of updates
  • Design, develop, and maintain HR reports and dashboards to provide clear, actionable insights
  • Support broader HRIS initiatives and contribute to projects across additional Workday modules as needed

To be a good fit for this role, you’ll have:

  • Hands-on experience with Workday configuration and administration, ideally across multiple HR modules
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong capability in HR reporting and dashboard development, with an eye for data accuracy and usability
  • Experience managing system updates, testing cycles, and documentation

This role sits at the intersection of HR, technology, and data. You’ll play a critical part in ensuring that HR systems not only function effectively but also enable smarter, faster decision-making across the organization. Your work will directly impact efficiency, data quality, and the overall employee experience.
