HR Manager

The HR Manager will lead on‑site HR operations for a manufacturing facility, partnering with plant leadership to support a safe, compliant, and engaged workforce. This role oversees employee relations, compliance, talent management, and HR operations in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with plant leadership on HR strategy, workforce planning, and employee engagement
• Manage employee relations, investigations, performance management, and policy enforcement
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and support safety and EHS initiatives
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and workforce development for hourly and salaried roles
• Administer compensation, benefits, HRIS, and HR reporting
• Support union or non‑union environments as applicable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
• 5\+ years of HR experience in manufacturing, chemical, or regulated environments
• Strong employee relations and compliance experience
• Union experience and HR certification (SHRM/PHR) a plus

Work Environment

• On‑site manufacturing facility with occasional off‑hours support
