leading consumer brand

on the search for an

Inbound Logistics Manager.

This is a

Perm

role based in

London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end logistics process for international shipments, including inbound movements and distribution.
  • Ensure compliance with global trade regulations, import/export documentation, and customs requirements across all regions.
  • Negotiate contracts, rates, and service agreements with supply chain partners and logistics service providers, aiming to maximise cost savings and service quality.
  • Implement cost-effective strategies and negotiate terms to achieve financial targets without compromising service levels.
  • Work closely with the suppliers to align logistics strategies with business goals and production timelines.
  • Support new market entries and product launches by establishing logistics processes and distribution strategies for each region.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and minimise risks in the logistics operations.
  • Establish and track KPIs for supplier performance, generating reports to present to senior management.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5\+ years in inbound logistics, preferably consumer goods industry.
  • Experience managing international supply chains.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., APICS, CILT) are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of international logistics, customs regulations, import/export procedures, and transportation management.
  • Resilient and change focused, with ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP or similar).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven

decisions.

Salary – c £60k \+ package
