Our Client is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join their Healthcare Information Systems team. This role is pivotal in shaping the vision and strategy of the organization’s information systems, ensuring alignment with business goals while driving innovation and efficiency across technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and execution of IT vision, strategy, and tactical plans.
• Research, test, and evaluate new technologies for suitability within the CHRISTUS environment.
• Assess proposed system acquisitions, providing input on compatibility, cost, resource needs, and long-term maintenance.
• Develop standards, procedures, and proactive processes for system performance, efficiency, and reporting.
• Maintain current certifications and deep expertise in IT infrastructure, architecture, and emerging technologies.
• Lead infrastructure design, capacity planning, and performance modeling initiatives.
• Provide leadership and guidance on complex architecture design projects.
• Ensure flexible architectures that support evolving business strategies.
• Collaborate with technical teams to establish and maintain technical standards.
• Present solutions effectively to all levels of management, including executives.
• Participate in requirements gathering and solution development with both technical and business teams.
• Apply advanced knowledge of clinical and business operations to align IT solutions with customer needs.
• Build strong relationships across management levels and maintain collaborative customer partnerships.
• Drive creative problem-solving, experimentation, and innovation beyond standard practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Architecture, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5\+ years of progressive Enterprise Architecture experience in Healthcare Hospital systems.
• Extensive technical expertise in hospital systems, databases, networks, operating systems, and IT best practices.
• Strong background in project management, problem-solving, leadership, and time management.
• Experience with SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Knowledge of EMR, ERP, CRM systems, and business process analysis.
• Solid understanding of security models, BI/Data Warehouse environments, and database design.
• Hands-on experience with ETL frameworks, data integration, and Big Data querying tools (Hive, Impala, Spark SQL).
