Integration Engineer

Senior Integration Engineer designs and implements reliable integrations between POS systems, vendor APIs, SQL Server, and Snowflake. The role focuses on API integration, data movement, resilient system design, and production‑ready engineering while establishing patterns for future vendor integrations, internal automation, and custom software needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain C#/.NET ingestion services for POS and vendor API integrations.
• Develop reliable connectors for multiple POS platforms and third‑party systems.
• Manage API authentication, pagination, retries, rate limits, schema drift, and error recovery.
• Design ingestion patterns for raw payload capture, staging, validation, replay, and auditing.
• Load, validate, and support operational data in SQL Server.
• Transfer curated data into Snowflake.
• Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, and operational support processes.
• Architect resilient systems to handle vendor API variability, schema drift, data recovery, and production observability.
• Lead design reviews of ingestion architecture and connector patterns.
• Establish reusable integration standards for future vendor and internal system integrations.
• Own production readiness standards for new connectors.
• Troubleshoot data issues across APIs, databases, and warehouse loading processes in collaboration with analytics engineering to ensure data accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Strong C#/.NET experience
• Strong SQL experience, preferably SQL Server
• Experience building or supporting REST API integrations
• Experience with JSON, authentication, pagination, retries, and error handling
• Experience with ETL/ELT, ingestion patterns, or data pipeline development
