Investment Banking Analyst @ Highly Repuatable Firm

Coda Search is partnering with a fast-growing, highly reputable firm that is seeking to hire an Analyst with offices located in NYC. This is a high-performing team where the Analyst will work on complex, high-impact transactions alongside senior bankers in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, a solid foundation in financial modeling, and a passion for executing strategic advisory assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the execution of M\&A transactions, including buy-side and sell-side mandates
• Build and maintain complex financial models (DCF, LBO, comparable company and precedent transaction analyses)
• Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, and transaction documentation
• Conduct industry, market, and company-specific research and analysis
• Coordinate due diligence processes and manage data rooms
• Collaborate with senior team members and clients throughout the deal lifecycle
• Assist in valuation analysis and financial structuring of transactions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or a related field
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Capital IQ, Bloomberg)
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
• High attention to detail and strong work ethic
