IT Business Analyst - Equity Front Office

Overview

We are looking for an IT Business Analyst, Pre Trade- Equity

The technology stack includes Fidessa, Horizon Trading Solutions, Dash Financials, Bloomberg EMSX, ION, and various proprietary in-house solutions. The Business Analyst will collaborate closely with international colleagues to ensure alignment across global initiatives.

Roles \& Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for algorithmic trading systems and real-time applications
• Analyze business processes to identify improvement and innovation opportunities within the Global Securities Financing and Equities perimeter
• Develop and maintain detailed functional specifications and use cases to guide development teams
• Facilitate communication between business units, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure clarity on project goals and deliverables
• Conduct data analysis to support trading strategies and decision-making processes
• Participate in the testing and validation of new features and enhancements, ensuring alignment with business requirements
• Provide ongoing user support, addressing inquiries and assisting with training as needed

Required Skills

• 5 to 15 years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, with a focus on algorithmic trading and real-time applications
• Strong understanding of

Equities markets

• Proficiency in data analysis tools: SQL, Excel, FIX messages
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: Fidessa, Horizon Trading Solutions, Dash Financials, Bloomberg EMSX, ION
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across diverse and international teams
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices
• Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with the trading solutions listed above is a strong differentiator
