IT PROJECT MANAGER

The IT Project Manager takes full responsibility for the overall project delivery and maintenance of all projects assigned to ensure that functional and operational requirements are met. The IT Project Manager manages projects in the portfolio if it is within the specifications, schedule, and budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale, multi-segment, regulatory, and high-investment programs
• Manage stakeholders across business units, ISG, senior management, and vendors to ensure alignment and visibility
• Plan and control project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and resources to meet delivery and compliance targets
• Govern vendor sourcing, contract negotiations, and provider performance in line with bank policies and standards
• Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, regulatory requirements, and smooth transition to application support

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management, or a related field; professional or postgraduate certifications are an advantage.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years in the IT industry, including 5 years in project management and delivery and 2 years within a financial services institution.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of project management, financial services systems, advanced systems analysis and design, programming concepts, and the SDLC.
• Leadership \& Management Skills: Proven leadership, program/project management, stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and risk and issue management capabilities.
• Communication \& Analytical Skills: Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities, with strong oral and written English communication skills.
