Role Overview

A

Junior Frontend Engineer

is responsible for building user-facing web applications, ensuring responsive design, and delivering seamless user experiences. The role involves collaborating with designers, backend developers, and product teams to develop high-quality, scalable interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Build reusable UI components for scalable frontend architecture
• Translate UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality code
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and services
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and performance
• Debug and troubleshoot frontend issues and bugs
• Use version control systems like Git for code management
• Follow best practices for clean code, accessibility, and security
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6\+)
• Basic experience with frontend frameworks like React.js, Angular, or Vue.js
• Understanding of responsive design and CSS frameworks (Bootstrap/Tailwind)
• Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON
• Knowledge of version control tools like Git
• Basic understanding of browser developer tools
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with React.js or similar modern frameworks
• Familiarity with TypeScript
• Knowledge of UI/UX principles
• Basic understanding of build tools (Webpack, Vite)
