Junior Front-End Developer

We're Hiring: Junior Front-End Developer (Hybrid – St. Louis, MO)

Arrows Up is looking for a Junior Front-End Developer to join our team and write code. You'll spend most of your time building client websites in Svelte and SvelteKit — our primary stack for new work — and help maintain a handful of WordPress sites in our client portfolio.

What you'll do:

• Build and ship Svelte/SvelteKit client sites end-to-end: reusable components, pages, layouts, and content integrations
• Maintain and update WordPress sites (themes, plugins, template files)
• Own features from first commit to launch — clean, responsive, cross-browser
• Improve existing client sites: refreshes, new features, performance fixes, code cleanup
• Keep Core Web Vitals, SEO, and accessibility healthy
• Collaborate with our project lead, lead designer, and fellow developers

What we're looking for:

• Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals (TypeScript is a plus)
• Experience with any modern JS framework (Svelte, React, Vue, Angular, Solid) — direct Svelte experience is great but not required
• Comfort in WordPress (themes, plugins, templates)
• Solid Git and collaborative workflow skills
• Awareness of accessibility and performance best practices
• An eye for detail and faithful design implementation
• A portfolio of real, shipped work

• Hybrid role based in St. Louis, MO (in-office collaboration days, remote Mondays and Fridays)
