Junior Front-End Developer (Remote)

PulseMediaNL is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Front-End Developer to join our remote team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about web development and user experience, with a strong interest in building responsive and user-friendly digital interfaces while growing technical skills in a collaborative remote environment.

Responsibilities

Front-End Development \& Support

• Assist in developing and maintaining responsive web applications and user interfaces
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable front-end code
• Support implementation of website features, updates, and improvements
• Collaborate with design and development teams to create seamless user experiences

UI/UX Implementation

• Translate design mockups and wireframes into functional web pages
• Ensure websites and applications are optimized for usability and responsiveness
• Assist with cross-browser compatibility testing and debugging
• Support accessibility and performance optimization initiatives

Testing \& Troubleshooting

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve front-end issues and bugs
• Assist with testing applications to ensure functionality and quality standards
• Monitor website performance and recommend improvements where needed
• Maintain accurate documentation of development tasks and updates

Collaboration \& Continuous Improvement

• Work closely with developers, designers, and project teams on ongoing initiatives
• Stay updated on front-end development trends, tools, and best practices
• Contribute ideas for improving workflows, design implementation, and user experience
• Follow established coding standards and development procedures

Requirements

About the Ideal Candidate

• 1–2 years of experience in front-end development, internships, or related projects
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks or libraries is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines in a remote environment
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git is a plus
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in web development, computer science, or a related field is a plus
