Role Description
The Junior Frontend Developer will contribute to building and improving user-facing features for Hory’s web platforms, ensuring clean, accessible, and responsive interfaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing UI designs, writing maintainable frontend code, fixing bugs, and collaborating with designers and other developers to improve the user experience. The role also involves testing and optimizing components across devices, participating in code reviews, and contributing to small project prototypes used by the community. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ankara, Türkiye.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Front-End Development and Responsive Web Design to implement modern, user-friendly interfaces across devices.
- Candidates should possess skills in Web Development and Software Development to build, maintain, and improve web applications using standard tools and practices.
- Candidates should possess foundational understanding of Back-End Web Development to collaborate effectively with backend developers and integrate APIs.
- Basic proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and familiarity with at least one modern frontend framework or library (e.g., React, Vue, or similar).
- Ability to learn quickly, ask questions, and work collaboratively within a community-focused environment.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and an interest in user experience and accessibility.
- Relevant coursework, bootcamp training, or personal projects demonstrating frontend capabilities; formal degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus but not required.
