We operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where creativity meets precision, delivering exceptional print products at scale for clients across a wide range of industries.
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer who thrives at the intersection of creativity and production. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing concepts to life while ensuring every file is technically accurate, press-ready, and production approved. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with Creative and Production teams to support layout execution, file preparation, pre-press production, and quality control across a wide range of print products. From marketing collateral and large-format graphics to custom packaging and branded materials, you’ll play a key role in ensuring projects move seamlessly from design to final production. This opportunity is perfect for a designer who wants hands-on experience in a dynamic print environment while continuing to sharpen both creative and technical design skills.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with layout development and production design for marketing collateral, large-format graphics, and custom print materials
- Prepare accurate, press-ready files for both digital and offset printing
- Ensure files meet production standards including proper bleeds, trim, DPI resolution, font embedding, transparency handling, and packaging
- Support versioning and design updates while maintaining brand consistency and visual quality
- Perform basic color corrections and image adjustments for print production
- Work within CMYK and spot color workflows, including Pantone specifications
- Review proofs and production files to ensure accuracy prior to final output
- Assist in creating and maintaining production-ready templates to improve workflow efficiency
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative, Production, and Marketing teams to meet project deadlines
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Help identify and troubleshoot file issues including missing assets, low-resolution images, incorrect color modes, or typography inconsistencies
Who You Are
- 1–3 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in print production or pre-press
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Strong understanding of print production fundamentals including bleeds, trim, safety margins, and overprint settings
- Familiarity with digital and offset printing processes
- Detail-oriented with a strong eye for layout, typography, and production accuracy
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong collaborator with excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities effectively
- Experience with Jira, HubSpot, or project management platforms is a plus
- Portfolio showcasing print, production, or branding work preferred
Why Join 4over
- Hybrid New Jersey role with a collaborative creative environment
- Opportunity to work on large-scale print, packaging, and production projects
- Hands-on exposure to advanced pre-press and print production workflows
- Career growth within a growing and innovative print and marketing organization
