Role Overview
The Key Account Manager (KAM) will be a key part of our online sales team and responsible for
online sales expansion on multiple marketplaces. He/ She will be responsible for driving
revenue, margin outcomes for their key accounts and improvement of account penetration
while creating new areas of growth for the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for driving business of boAt in online marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal and other new omni-channels.
- Account Planning – Business Planning with Marketplace, Delivering Revenue Targets, Market Share and NPS (Net Promoter Score) Objectives.
- Forecasting and planning of demand and sales; top-line growth, sell-in \& sell–out management, inventory management.
- Establishing clear short- and long-term e-commerce strategy and management together with external and internal stakeholders.
- Ensuring profitability and growth of the account.
- Building the forecast of products at regional and account level, monitoring the products listed and ensuring the deliveries of orders to achieve a market share of products.
- Responsible for market and competitive analysis, keeping a check on market trends, take corrective actions as required.
- Understanding the key business drivers for this channel and working in close proximity with cross - functional teams to align objectives.
- Collaborating with internal as well as external stakeholders to achieve the desired market share in each category.

- Good interpersonal skills and high task orientation.
- Ability to work with cross functional teams – ability to influence in absence of reporting relationship.
- Expert in Excel and PowerPoint.
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in e-commerce sales, key account management, or channel management.
- Prior experience working either as a Category Manager with an e-commerce platform or as a Key Account Manager handling e-commerce channels.
- Strong proficiency in key account management, data analysis, and leveraging insights to drive business growth and channel penetration.
- Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Tier 1 educational background (e.g., IITs, IIMs, ISB, XLRI, FMS, or other premier institutes) will be preferred.
