Job Description
Lab Instructor-Radiology Education Trainer
San Francisco, CA (Onsite Role)

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and deliver orientation curriculum for newly admitted radiography students
- Prepare students for online coursework, face-to-face labs, and clinical rotations
- Introduce program policies, professional expectations, patient and radiation safety fundamentals
- Set the tone for professionalism, engagement, and readiness for all incoming cohorts
- Ensure consistent, equitable, and well-documented orientation experiences
- Work under the Program Director and coordinate with the Clinical Coordinator
- Maintain accurate orientation completion records
- Support students with effective communication and guidance
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Understanding of radiography program structure and transition needs of new students
- Introductory knowledge of radiation and patient safety
- Familiarity with JRCERT supervision policies and compliance
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Ability to organize and track orientation progress
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use standard office software and learning management/student information platforms
Education Requirements
- Associate s degree in radiologic technology or related field (or equivalent experience/training)
