Lead Business Analyst (P\&C Insurance) - Open for Relocation

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in P\&C Insurance domain to support enterprise insurance transformation and product implementation initiatives. This is a client-facing role responsible for driving business analysis activities, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring successful implementation of insurance platform solutions across Policy Administration, Rating, Underwriting, Claims, and Reinsurance functions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, along with deep understanding of insurance products, business workflows, and software implementation processes. The role requires close collaboration with business users, IT teams, QA teams, and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of scalable insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with Insurance Business, IT teams, clients, and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business, functional, UI, and product requirements aligned with project scope and objectives.
  • Understand insurance solution architecture, product offerings, business workflows, user roles, and data flows to support implementation and rollout activities effectively.
  • Configure and support business rules, rating logic, and insurance product configurations while ensuring alignment with business requirements and operational processes.
  • Perform functional testing, troubleshoot issues, coordinate defect resolution, support QA/UAT cycles, and track issues through closure before deployment.
  • Conduct solution demonstrations, impact analysis for scope changes, walkthroughs of system requirements, and provide knowledge transfer to business and technical teams.
  • Collaborate closely with development and QA teams on implementation activities, provide effort estimations, manage change requests, and communicate risks, priorities, and critical business impacts effectively.

Required Experience \& Skills:

  • 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in P\&C Insurance domain with strong understanding of insurance products and workflows.
  • Experience implementing insurance software solutions, including packaged insurance platforms and customized enterprise insurance applications.
  • Strong domain knowledge across Policy Administration, Rating, Underwriting, Claims, Reinsurance, and Commercial Lines insurance processes.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience working with Agile delivery models, functional testing, UAT coordination, requirement gathering, and cross-functional implementation teams.
  • Highly motivated and adaptable professional with strong interpersonal skills, flexibility to work in dynamic environments, and ability to support complex client-facing implementation programs.
