Lead Designer, Activity

For our client, we are seeking a Lead Designer Activity to join the team of a leader in the Media space. This role will advance people and talent initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and employee experience. You will collaborate with business leaders, HR partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to align workforce priorities with business objectives. The position offers the opportunity to influence culture, talent strategy, and scalable people operations within a Media environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $100,000 – $130,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Create and document a compelling vision for gameplay activities
• Integrate activities seamlessly with the level design alongside the Lead World Designer
• Incorporate feedback from the Design Director and collaborate with design peers
• Build and manage a team of activity designers as the project scales
• Design repeatable and narrative-driven activities for players
• Test game activities and adjust based on playtest feedback
• Maintain and tune live service activities, fixing bugs as necessary

Qualifications

• 10\+ years' design experience
• 5\+ years in a leadership role
• 3\+ years' experience as a people-manager
• Shipped 1\+ live-service multiplayer title in a design leadership role
• Shipped 1\+ action title in a design leadership role
• Designed and implemented 1\+ 'endgame' activities for a live-service title
• Passion for online RPGs
