Responsibilities

The Lead HR Generalist:

  • Provides dedicated HR support to Physicians by addressing standard and complex HR inquiries, directly managing and resolving cases and concerns, and coordinating end-to-end case management through resolution.
  • Proactively manages and resolves physician-related escalations and complex questions and issues by partnering with HR COEs (Employee Relations, Total Rewards, Talent, Payroll, etc.) and operational leaders; ensures timely, accurate, and compliant outcomes. Physician reach-outs are the highest priority.
  • Builds and maintains effective relationships between Physicians and HR teams to improve communication, set expectations, and drive consistent, high-quality support and service delivery.
  • Develops the Physician Experience strategy, translating needs and feedback into prioritized initiatives; partners cross-functionally to execute the strategy and measure impact over time.
  • Able to effectively integrate data, feedback, and observations from a variety of sources across time to anticipate upcoming needs and improve the teammate and physician
  • Successfully leads or participates in projects across HR functional teams from inception to delivery, while also partnering with the business and other operational teams.
  • Prioritizes continuous process improvement as Service Delivery optimization efforts launch and are executed through a transformational roadmap.
  • Potential to directly manage and oversee HR Generalists.
  • Effectively supports new centers, physician groups, and practices from diligence, acquisition, to integration alongside the D\&I team. Identifies risks, recommends solutions, works with other members of HR, and interacts with center teammates through training opportunities. Supports flawless integration which maximizes investment. May collaborate with other resources to ensure integration and experience success.
  • Supports the Service Delivery support model evolution and enhancement related to Tiered support, Centers of Service support frameworks, and movement of work.
  • Leverages internal and external HR support resources to resolve issues. Escalates complex issues or those which indicate trends which could impact the company and Physician groups.
  • Maintains the Service Delivery Service Catalog.
  • Provides recommendations on internal best practices, mitigating risks, policy, and compliance related topics.
  • Proactively maintains knowledge management inventories and ensures accurate Physician facing and HR facing information.
  • Improves knowledge management capabilities and strategies as it relates to Physician facing content in Teammate Service Center and internal HR facing content.
  • Stays informed on labor laws, compliance topics, regulatory requirements, and emerging policy.
  • Leverages analytics, trend insights, and qualitative feedback to proactively identify emerging needs and drive continuous improvement across the Physician experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable field required and 3-5 years of Human Resources experience.
  • Healthcare experience is required. Experience supporting Physicians strongly preferred.
  • PHR or SPHR preferred; PHR-CA or SPHR-CA a huge plus.
  • Able to travel quarterly to facilities and practices.
  • Project management and change management experience are a plus.
  • Working knowledge of all functional areas of Human Resources.
  • Must have strong MS Office skills.
  • Background utilizing ServiceNow and UKG Pro systems and applications.
  • Ability to manage a significant workload and fast-paced flow of expected output.
  • Comfortable with matrix and remote reporting relationships.
  • Thrives in ambiguous situations and can quickly steer in different directions.
