Legal Assistant - Premier Investment Firm

A top-tier global investment firm is seeking high-caliber Legal Assistant contractors to join its Legal \& Compliance function. This is a high-profile, high-performance environment with an exceptionally high bar for entry, offering exposure to sophisticated legal operations and elite legal talent. The role is best suited to early-career, high-achieving individuals with strong academic backgrounds and a clear interest in pursuing a legal career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare agreements for execution; track, follow up, and process fully executed documents (electronic and hard copy).
  • Maintain and monitor legal agreement and vendor contract databases.
  • Triage and respond to incoming requests from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Interpret and upload agreement provisions into internal systems with precision.
  • Generate reports and provide data from various legal databases.
  • Liaise with external service providers on execution workflows and system updates.
  • Organize and manage superseded or terminated agreements; coordinate with records management.
  • Support due diligence processes, including documentation for trading and bank account setup.
  • Complete audit-related work on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Assist with ad hoc legal, compliance, and operational projects.
  • Troubleshoot issues across internal systems and databases.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required (top-tier academic background strongly preferred).
  • 0-2 years' experience, including legal internships at Am Law 50 firms, elite law firms, or prestigious government offices.
  • Demonstrated academic excellence and a high-achievement mindset.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate, high-quality work under pressure.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • High level of initiative, professionalism, and sound judgment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders.
