Machine Learning Engineer

Our client is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate is a Senior Developer with hands-on machine learning experience in production environments, particularly maintaining and expanding existing LLM-based applications rather than research-focused work. Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP), Python, AWS, LangChain, and LangSmith is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• LLMs and Generative AI: Evaluating Generative AI systems for financial earnings call summarization, including topic extraction and Q\&A chatbots.
• Large-Scale Data Processing: Building and maintaining data pipelines for 40,000\+ annual events, including real-time audio processing and automatic speech recognition (ASR).
• Model Implementation: Implementing advanced language models (e.g., LLMs using LangChain) to generate insights.
• Evaluation and Benchmarking: Maintaining internal leaderboards for task-specific benchmarks (e.g., using Hugging Face Spaces) to inform model selection and performance improvements.
• Tools: Work involves Large Language Models (LLMs), LangChain, and advanced NLP techniques to generate insights, sentiment analysis, and topic extraction.

Pay range for the role is $185-215k
