Your expertise will be instrumental in creating scalable, secure, and high-performance machine learning solutions that power innovative customer experiences and operational efficiencies. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud-native platforms, machine learning frameworks, and modern deployment practices, with a focus on building resilient ML serving architectures that meet the demands of real-time, high-volume AI applications.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and industry experience. Basic qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, along with at least six years of experience in designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing frameworks. You should have a minimum of four years of programming experience in Python, Scala, Go, or Java, and at least two years of experience developing, scaling, and optimizing machine learning systems. Preferred qualifications include a Master's or Doctoral Degree, extensive experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn, and a proven track record of developing production-ready data pipelines and deploying ML solutions in cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Leadership experience, contributions to industry research, or open-source projects will be considered a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI models and components that address complex business challenges, collaborating closely with product and data science teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Implement cloud-native machine learning serving platforms utilizing technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, KNative, and KServe to facilitate scalable and efficient model deployment.
  • Solve scaling and high-availability challenges by writing performant application code in Python and Go, automating testing and deployment processes, and validating ML models in production environments.
  • Apply advanced MLOps and GitOps practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), managing the full lifecycle of models and applications with tools like ArgoCD.
  • Leverage service mesh architectures such as Istio to manage traffic, improve security, and ensure resilience of high-volume serving endpoints.
  • Monitor, retrain, and maintain models in production, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with governance standards.
  • Construct and optimize scalable data pipelines to efficiently feed machine learning models, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Ensure all code adheres to security standards, reducing vulnerabilities, and implementing responsible AI practices, including explainability and fairness.
  • Utilize programming languages such as Python, Go, Scala, or Java to develop resilient, maintainable, and high-performance applications.
