Machine Learning Engineer- NYC (on-site) | $130K-$160K | W-2 Only | No Sponsorship (nor or future) /No Relocation

Our client is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer who will be responsible for designing and developing machine learning systems, implementing appropriate ML algorithms, conducting experiments, and improving the product. They will work with data to create models, perform statistical analysis, and train and retrain systems to optimize performance. Their goal is to build efficient self-learning applications that will delight customers. This is an early-stage company with ambitious goals.

You’ll work across:

• Developing and deploying ML systems

• Training and optimizing modern ML models

• Running experiments and improving performance

• Building self-learning applications that customers genuinely love

• Turning messy real-world data into production-ready intelligence

You might be a great fit if you have:

• Strong experience with PyTorch and transformer-based systems

• Experience deploying scalable ML services on AWS

• Hands-on work with agentic AI frameworks (RAG, LangChain, MCP, etc.)

• 1–3\+ years of full-time experience in an MLE role
