Our Maintenance Technician supports the property team to ensure maintenance tasks are completed on time and to a high quality. This role involves visiting our nurseries to assist with repairs, scheduled works (including Health \& Safety issues) and providing support to the Maintenance Team and other nursery team members.

What you’ll be doing…

• Be responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of our buildings to ensure that they meet health and safety standards and legal requirements
• Travel to our various nursery sites to carry out routine maintenance visits \& work to a planned monthly visit schedule
• Strong Communication with our nursery teams regularly
• Be responsible for building-related procurement
• Respond to emergency call-outs within 24 hours
• Work a flexible shift pattern, including some evening and weekend work
• Managing Maintenance expenses
• You will be expected to work and stay away on occasion if required

You should have…

• Experience in the property and construction industry
• Experience in plumbing, electrical and joinery work is essential
• A qualification in plumbing or electrics is preferable
• Competency in basic building repairs
• Ability to use tools and operate equipment
• Must have a full clean driving licence (Expenses will be reimbursed)
