Job Title:

Manager, Marketing (Haircare) Kerastase US

Division:

Professional Products Division

Location:

New York, New York

Reports To:

AVP, Kerastase

Who We Are:

For more than a century, L’Oréal has devoted its energy, innovation, and scientific excellence solely to one business: Beauty. Our goal is to offer each and every person around the world the best of beauty in terms of quality, efficacy, safety, sincerity and responsibility to satisfy all beauty needs and desires in their infinite diversity.

At L’Oréal Professional Products, our mission is to support hairdressers, develop the hair industry sustainably, and lead the digital transformation of our industry with a customer-centric approach. Our brands portfolio includes L’Oréal Professionnel, Kérastase, Redken, Matrix, ColorWow and Pureology.

Job Summary:

The Manager, Marketing (Haircare) Kerastase US will partner closely with the AVP of Brand Marketing to translate Kérastase's strategic priorities into best-in-class brand activations across all channels — including Sephora, Amazon, D2C, and Salons. This individual will serve as a true owner of key brand pillars — driving the full 360 marketing plan from strategy through execution, leading product positioning messaging in collaboration with DMI, and fueling brand decision-making with sharp, actionable competitive intelligence.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and meticulous executor — someone who brings a strong digital background, a growth mindset, and the cross-functional agility to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-channel environment. This is a role for someone who takes genuine ownership, connects the dots across teams, and holds themselves to the standard of excellence that defines the Kérastase brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • In partnership with the AVP, serve as the brand marketing lead with DMI on all product positioning and messaging — ensuring the brand's story is told with precision, luxury, and relevance across every consumer touchpoint.
  • Serve as the primary owner of assigned brand pillars — leading the development and execution of the full 360 marketing plan from initial strategy through in-market delivery across all channels
  • Develop and maintain a strategic activation calendar in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring all pillar initiatives are cohesively planned, on-brand, and commercially ambitious
  • Support the execution of all marketing aspects of the brand's strategic go-to-market plans — including sampling management, promotional planning, timely code and promo creation, and A\&P budget tracking
  • Own the ongoing synthesis of competitive intelligence across the prestige and professional haircare landscape — monitoring brand activity, product launches, pricing, promotional strategies, and retail positioning
  • Translate competitive findings into clear, actionable insights that directly inform brand strategy, pillar planning, and go-to-market decisions
  • Act as a central connector across Brand Marketing, DMI, Omnichannel, Sales, Education, and Creative — ensuring seamless information flow and strong alignment on brand priorities across all teams

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 3–5 years in Brand Marketing and/or a related marketing function, ideally within beauty, prestige, or professional haircare
  • Experience across retail and direct channels including Sephora, Amazon, D2C, and/or professional Salons strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of the prestige and professional beauty landscape with a passion for luxury haircare
  • Proactive and results-oriented thinker who thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and relationship-driven environment
  • Communicates clearly and succinctly in both oral and written forms — comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong critical thinking, competitive analysis, and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized with proven multi-tasking, attention to detail, and project management capabilities
  • Ability to travel domestically

What’s In It For You

  • Salary Range: $98,400-$140,200 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
  • Competitive Benefit Package (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Pension Plan)
  • Hybrid Work Policy
  • Flexible Time Off (Paid Company Holidays, Paid Vacation, Vacation Buy Program, Volunteer Time, Summer Fridays \& More!)
  • Access to Company Perks (VIP Access to L’Oréal’s Internal Shop for Discounted Products, Monthly Mobile Allowance)
  • Learning \& Development Opportunities (Unlimited Access to E-learnings, Lunch \& Learn Sessions, Mentorship Programs, \& More!)
  • Employee Resource Groups (Think Tanks and Innovation Squads)
  • Access to Mental Health \& Wellness Programs
