Manager of Customer Marketing
Reports To: Senior Director of Demand Generation

The Impact you Will Have:
As a member of our B2B marketing team, you will manage all marketing and communications aimed at our certification community – compromised of Crucial Learning trainers and SDI facilitators. You will be responsible to help create and lead out on the strategy to grow and support the certified community. You will be responsible to lead multi-channel marketing campaigns—including email, newsletters, websites, social media, and events—to generate demand and provide valuable client enablement experiences. You will work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams, to define and execute marketing communications that engage our certified community with the overall objectives of greater awareness, loyalty, engagement, and demand generation.
What You’ll Do:
- With a leadership mindset, look for opportunities to grow the certified community channel. Seek out opportunities to innovate and improve existing processes and programs. Work closely with marketing leadership to execute on new ideas and strategies.
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns aimed at the certified community that generate demand for new offerings as well as help our clients go broader and deeper with Crucial Learning solutions (i.e. cross-sell, upsell).
- Maintain and develop strategic relationships with the certified community through various communication methods (i.e. e-mail newsletters, events, email, social communities, and web).
- Own the strategy and maintenance of the Certification Zone – a resource center to enable certified clients with tools and info to successfully implement Crucial Learning solutions. Work closely with the operations team and site developers to maintain the quality and impact of the Certification Zone.
- Analyze data to determine performance of the certified community, looking for growth opportunities and adjusting plans as needed to generate better results over time.
- Search out new channel partnership opportunities to help drive business growth.
- Maintain and create new marketing materials for the certified community, especially as it relates to product updates and launches. Manage communication of these materials and updates to the certified community.
- Assist in developing a dashboard for key performance indicators for the certified community to measure community growth as well as campaign and program effectiveness.
- Help manage the certified community marketing budget to ensure a strong return on program spend.
- Build excitement and awareness of certified community efforts both within the marketing team as well as across the broader organization by reporting on team initiatives and successes.
- Collaborate with others across the company while maintaining healthy working relationships.
What You’ll Need:
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Understanding of the marketing funnel and how to drive prospects and customers through it with well-planned and well-executed campaigns.
- 7\+ years of experience in a related marketing campaign role, preferably B2B.
- Ability to plan and execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Experience with and command of marketing tools like: Marketo, Wordpress, Salesforce, Domo, Wrike, etc.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven track record of creating successful marketing campaigns that generate demand.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative, upbeat work ethic where you can take ownership and have fun.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $70,000– $95,000 annually with the opportunity to participate in a variable incentive plan. The actual base salary offered will depend on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
