Job Title: Manager / Senior Manager, Banking \& Treasury
Industry / Function: MedTech - Healthcare / Finance
Reporting To: Chief Financial Officer
Location: Navi Mumbai
Role Overview
The Manager / Senior Manager – Banking \& Treasury will be responsible for managing daily banking operations, treasury activities, cash flow planning, trade finance coordination, and financial controls. The role requires close coordination with banks, internal stakeholders, auditors, and finance teams across multiple subsidiaries in India.
Key Responsibilities
Banking Operations
o Manage daily banking transactions, including payments, receipts, and fund transfers.
o Perform and review bank reconciliations on a regular basis.
o Maintain relationships with banking partners and coordinate documentation and compliance requirements.
o Monitor bank balances and ensure optimal fund utilization across accounts.
o Handle cross-border banking transactions and manage relationships with major banking partners.
Treasury Management
o Prepare and manage short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts.
o Optimize working capital and support effective liquidity management.
o Execute fund planning, inter-account transfers, and investment tracking.
o Monitor borrowing limits, interest costs, and repayment schedules.
o Support BG, EMD, and foreign remittance requirements.
Trade Finance and Forex
o Manage import and inland LC processing, amendments, acceptance, and document lodging.
o Handle foreign remittances, advance payments, overseas fund transfers, and IDPMS closure.
o Monitor foreign exchange and cross-currency exposures to assess and manage risk.
o Support LC and BG management, including cash and spot booking.
o Execute forward contracts and update exchange-rate entries in SAP.
Payments \& Compliance
o Ensure timely processing of vendor payments, payroll, statutory dues, and loan repayments.
o Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, company policies, and banking procedures.
o Coordinate with auditors on treasury-related queries, records, and documentation.
o Maintain accurate records for all banking, treasury, and trade finance transactions.
o Foreign Exchange Management: Monitoring various currency/ cross-currency exposures of the Company to determine the risk exposure arising out the same
o LC \& BG management, cash \& spot booking; Import \& Inland LC
o Forward contracts and exchange rates in SAP
Financial Reporting
o Assist in preparation of MIS reports related to cash flow, bank positions, and treasury performance
o Track and report variances in cash flow projections
o Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Stakeholder Coordination
o Liaise with internal departments for payment planning and approvals
o Work closely with finance team for budgeting and forecasting activities
Key Requirements
Education
o CA, CMA, MBA, or CA Inter preferred.
Experience
o 10- 12 years of relevant experience in banking and treasury functions
o Experience in corporate treasury or large organization preferred
Skills \& Competencies
o Strong understanding of banking operations and treasury functions
o Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle etc.)
o Good analytical and problem-solving skills
o Strong attention to detail and accuracy
o Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Attributes
o Experience managing multiple bank accounts and high transaction volumes.
o Knowledge of working capital management and financial instruments.
o Exposure to cross-border payments, trade finance, and treasury operations at scale.
o Ability to streamline processes and strengthen financial controls.
