Manufacturing Engineer I

Contract:

1 year contract with extension or conversion potential

This is an entry to mid-level engineering position will support manufacturing operations through equipment relocation, installation, validation, and process coordination within a regulated production environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support equipment moves into new manufacturing spaces
• Execute equipment validation activities according to approved validation plans
• Assist with troubleshooting mechanical and manufacturing equipment issues
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Maintenance teams to support project timelines and manufacturing readiness
• Document validation, testing, and equipment activities accurately

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred
• 0–2 years of manufacturing, engineering, or internship experience
• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
• Understanding of safety, validation, and compliance practices
• Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Estimated Contract Pay Rate

For a 12-month contract Manufacturing Engineer I role in Huntington, WV, the typical pay range would be:

• $28–$38/hour for entry-level candidates
• $38–$45/hour for candidates with relevant internship/co-op or regulated manufacturing experience

Work Authorization Requirement

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
